Can I see who I'd be living with?
Yes. We can tell you about the current housemates (jobs and ages, not names) and you will meet the house when you view.
What do I need to apply?
Photo ID and proof of your right to rent, proof of employment and income showing at least 30 times the monthly rent a year, and a reference from your current or previous landlord.
Is there a minimum stay?
Tenancies are rolling under the Renters' Rights Act. You give two months' notice when you want to leave.
How much is the deposit?
Two weeks' rent. For a £700 room that is £323.08, protected with the Deposit Protection Service.
Are there any fees?
No. You pay a holding deposit, your deposit and your rent, and nothing else. See tenant payments.
